Objectives
Through our work together in this course, we expect that you will learn to:
Recognize the various qualities a good engineer must possess and which of these are being taught (and not taught) explicitly or implicitly in their future education.
Use their later specific technical learning within the broader context of engineering practice.
Apply techniques to effectively communicate in oral and written form to a range of audiences including explaining complex technical issues to non-technical people.
Explain and practice the skills needed in working with people.
Demonstrate the ability to approach problems and issues from a variety of perspectives and via different techniques.
Describe engineering, its purpose, and the processes associated with it.
